South LA Jamboree is hosted at SLU and surrounding facilities in Hammond, LA. 

JAMBOREE RULES & NOTES:

Tournament Format: 

Warm Up: 2 minutes shared court, 6 minutes for first game of the day followed by 4 minutes for each team. Please serve during this time.

Timeouts: 30 seconds

Two day pool play. 4 Matches Guaranteed. Each match is 2/3 sets The first two sets to 25 and possible third set to 15pt (no cap).

10, 11, 13U: Games to 3 sets for everyone to get max playing time and touches.  The first two sets to 25 and third set to 15pt (no cap).

Boys Division: Morning wave Pool Play. Two sets only, matches to 25 points (no cap).  Afternoon wave, Bracket play 2/3 sets. The first two sets to 25 and possible third set to 15pt (no cap). Single Elimination. 

• NOTE - Per 2D Sports Volleyball policy, a coach MUST R2 any match that is 14U or younger.

Roster/Jersey Rules: Rosters are required to be submitted online in your team account no later than the day prior to the start of the event. Coaches will NOT be required to present their team's roster at the start of each match but will certify a printed version of their 2D submitted roster upon check in and receive a wristband.  For assistance with rosters, please contact [email protected] Since this is a jamboree, teams are NOT required to have matching uniforms, but must have numbered shirts, pennies, or jerseys nor contrasting libero jerseys. No substitution rules are in effect.

Score: Games will not be scored or recorded on the 2D site as these games are pre-season jamboree games and will not affect a team's season record or points. 
Awards: Medals & Merchandise will be handed out to Champions & Finalists in the gold bracket for one day tournament boys' teams only. NO awards for Pre-Season Jamboree events for girls. 
 

[CASHLESS GATE] Our cashless system provides a more secure transaction and experience for both the customer and staff. Gate fees are $12/day General Admission, 20% Discount  $9/day Senior/Military (ID),  and 10 and under free. Coaches will sign in at the gate and receive a wristband for the weekend. Tickets bought at one location will be accepted at all locations for that day only.
